Susan Smith, daughter of Mathias and Martha Smith was born in Muskingum Co, OH, July 17, 1836, and departed this life November 7, 1913, aged 77 yr 3 mo 20 da. She was married to John Freese March 30, 1854. To this union were born eight children, 5 boys and 3 girls, three of these of whom are still living. The husband and five children preceded her. She leaves three children, three sisters, two brothers. Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter on Eaton St., November 9, 1913, Rev. Mr. Weir of the Bellpoint United Brethren church officiating. Survivors: Sons, Lewis & Henry. Daughters, Mrs. Chauncey Hall, Warrensburg, OH; Mrs. George Robinson, Radnor, OH; & Seba Weeks, of Canada. Brothers, William Smith, NYC, NY & Lewis, of MO.
