(initials are hard to read sometimes) J.M. isCould be Joseph M. 10, in the 1860 census, son of Asa & Angeline (Hedrick) Alley (but this is not looking to be true. I have a copy of the Alley Lineage of the George May who has 14 generations of Alley including some ally's in Tazwell county at that time.
